BASE DESCRIPTION

The first thing you can notice is that town is well protected in the center because it has some loot and it is worth one star, so it is one of the basic rules to keep in mind while making a hybrid base.

Now coming to the defenses, they are placed in such a way that they cover the whole base and the base remains strong all sides and no side is left weak. The wizard towers are placed in the core of the base as they are the most crucial defense at TH7, placing them in any of the outer compartments won’t make any sense as they will be taken out by giants. Archer towers are placed in each corner of the base so that they cover the whole base, mortars are also evenly placed, overall the defenses are evenly distributed.

Now coming to storages, they are evenly placed in different compartments, this is the mistake that most beginner base designers make that they place all the storages in the center, and defenses in the outer compartments. so once the attacker break through the compartment of defense they get access to all the loot. which is not the case in this base because the storages are placed in different compartments, the attacker has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot.

Also never put the same type of storages on one side of the base, Example:-
if we put both the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. so in order to avoid that we place them alternatively, just like this base.

To protect the dark elixir storage, we have placed our king on that side of the base, to make that side even stronger, if you have double cannon you can place it there to increase the protection further.

Air defenses are well paired with the air sweeper, which will help in tackling attacks like Mass Dragon, Loonion etc.

now coming to traps placement, after observation of so many attacks on this base these are the compartments where most people are likely to start their attack from, so I have placed spring traps in these compartments so they can take out giants as soon as they enter these compartments, those bombs are placed there to stop BARCH attacks.

Teslas are placed in the center to complement wizard towers, due to teslas high damage per second they become deadly when they are placed near a highpoint building like gold storage, as by the time opponent troops take out that building the tesla has already done a lot of damage. one giant bomb is placed in the center to strengthen the core and the other is placed to one the side where dark elixir storage to give it protection against spam attacks.

Now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice, just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily.

This base is Anti Giant Wizard, Anti BARCH, Anti Giant Healer. Since the Air Defenses in the base are placed in the center of the base, they are well protected to protect against air attacks like Balloon Rage, Mass Dragon, Dragons & Minions and Dragloon. The traps are placed in the right spots as well which counters attacks like Mass Hog and Giant wizard attacks. It can also defend against some newly upgraded Town hall 8 attackers with ease. So, overall in this base layout all the defensive buildings are well placed, hence, this base can easily defend against any Air attacking and Ground Attacking strategy.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 7 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 7 you can get Maximum of 20 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 7 :-

1. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Wizards + 2 Archers 
2. 1 Witch + 2 Wizards (Recommended)
3. 2 Valkyries + 1 Wizard 
4. 1 Dragon

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 7.
