BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, this is Dark Barbarian, and today we’re building a Town Hall 6 Hybrid Base. This base is designed to protect both your loot and your trophies, which makes it perfect for players who want a balanced base while farming and pushing at the same time.

Let’s do the Base Analysis!

First of all, the Town Hall is placed right in the center of the base.

This is very important for a hybrid base because the Town Hall contains loot and also gives away a star. By placing it in the center, attackers have to go through multiple layers of defenses before reaching it.

This makes it much harder for opponents to secure an easy star.

Right next to the Town Hall, we have some of the most important defenses at Town Hall 6, which are the Air Defense and Wizard Towers.

The Wizard Towers are positioned in such a way that they help protect the core of the base while also covering nearby compartments.

Because Wizard Towers deal splash damage, they are very effective against grouped troops like Barbarians, Archers, Goblins, and also grouped balloons.

Their placement allows them to support both the central defenses and the nearby storages.

The Air Defense is placed in the center so it can cover most of the base against air troops like Balloons and Healers. The air sweeper works well in combination with air defences to increase protection against air attacks like mass balloon attacks.

The Mortars are positioned slightly away from the exact center but still well protected inside compartments. Mortars are extremely important at TH6 because they counter common farming armies like BARCH, GiBarch, and mass Goblins. Their splash damage can eliminate groups of low-health troops very quickly.

The Archer Towers are spread around the base in different compartments.

This placement helps provide balanced air and ground coverage across the entire base.

Since Archer Towers can attack both ground and air troops, spreading them around the layout ensures there are no weak spots where attackers can easily approach from.

The Cannons are placed in the outer defensive layer of the base.

Their job is to provide strong single-target damage against ground troops and support the Archer Towers in stopping ground attacks before they reach the core.

When it comes to storages, they are spread out evenly throughout the base. By spreading the storages evenly, the attacker will need to take out the entire base to get all the loot.

It’s also important to never place the same type of storage on the same side of the base. For instance, if we put both gold storages on one side, the attacker could easily grab nearly all of your gold by destroying that part of the base, so to avoid that, we place them alternatively, just like our base.

The traps are placed based on the expected pathing of attacking troops.

Spring traps and giant bombs are placed along common entry points where troops like Giants are most likely to travel.

These traps can eliminate or weaken attacking troops before they reach the more important defenses.

Small bombs are also placed near potential Wall Breaker entry points, which can disrupt the attacker’s funnel and force their troops to walk around the base instead of going directly inside.

Coming to the outer buildings, they are placed alternatively around the base.

I avoided placing the same type of collectors next to each other.

By spreading them around the base, attackers have to spend more time clearing them, which allows your defenses to deal more damage.

That’s it for the base analysis.

To be completely honest, this base will hold up really well on its own if the attacker isn’t using Clan Castle troops. But if they bring strong troops in their Clan Castle and you don’t have anything in yours for defense, you’re going to get wrecked almost every time. That’s why I always recommend lower Town Hall players to keep something defensive in their Clan Castle.

I hope you learned something valuable, and you go to the base copy link down bellow. That’s all I had to say, see you guys in the next one.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 6 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 6 you can get Maximum of 20 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for the defense at Town Hall 6 :-

  1. 1 Witch + 2 Wizards (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Wizards + 2 Archers
  3. 2 Valkyries + 1 Wizard
  4. 1 Dragon

FEATURES OF THIS BASE

  1. Centered and well-protected Town hall
  2. Core placement maximizes wizard tower and air defense effectiveness.
  3. Mortars protect outer compartments from spam attacks in base design.
  4. Storages are well protected
  5. Nicely Placed Air Sweeper
  6. Perfect traps placement
  7. Beast Against Ground & Air Attacks
  8. Alternate collector placement maximizes efficiency in outer buildings.
