BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, Dark Barbarian here, and today I’m bringing you a brand-new Town Hall 13 hybrid base. This base is designed to protect your loot while also helping you maintain your trophies.
In the base analysis, I’ll explain every building placement and the strategy behind the design so you can decide whether switching to this base is the right move for you.
Alright, now let’s jump into the base analysis.

First of all, the Town Hall is positioned right in the center of the base, which is one of the most important features of this design.
At Town Hall 13, the Town Hall itself becomes a powerful defensive building because of the Giga Inferno. When enemy troops enter its range, it activates and deals massive damage over time.
Because the Town Hall is surrounded by multiple compartments and key defenses, enemy troops will already be weakened by the time they reach it. This makes the core extremely difficult to take down.

Another major strength of this base is the large number of compartments.
These compartments force enemy troops to constantly break through walls, slowing down the attack and disrupting troop pathing.
High hitpoint troops like P.E.K.K.A.s, Golems, and Ice Golems spend a lot of time destroying walls, giving our defenses more time to eliminate them.
This also prevents attackers from getting easy value with spells or siege machines.

Moving on to the Eagle Artillery, which is placed very close to the center of the base.
This placement keeps it well protected by multiple layers of walls and defenses.
Because of its long range, the Eagle Artillery can target troops across the entire base once the attacker has deployed a sufficient number of troops.
Since it is located deep inside the base, attackers will have to commit a large portion of their army just to reach it.

The Inferno Towers are placed inside protected compartments close to the core.
They cover the Town Hall, Clan Castle, Eagle Artillery, airdefenses, and x-bows — all critical structures. This makes core pushes extremely dangerous.
Make sure to configure them based on the types of armies you’re facing. If you’re up against armies with more troops but lower hitpoints, like miners, bowlers, and witches, use the multiple mode. If you’re facing high hitpoint troops like Electro dragons, pekkas, and golems, use the single mode.

The X-Bows are placed in well protected compartments around the core of the base.
They are set to both ground and air, because hybrid bases need to defend against all types of attack strategies.
This ensures consistent damage against both ground armies and air armies throughout the battle.

The Air Defenses are spread out into separate compartments across the base.
This is extremely important because it prevents attackers from destroying multiple Air Defenses using Lightning Spells.
Their positions allow them to cover almost the entire base, making this layout strong against air attacks like Dragons, LavaLoon, and Electro Dragons.
The Air Sweepers are placed in different compartments, pointing in different directions.
This positioning helps disrupt air attacks by pushing enemy troops away from the center of the base.
As a result, air troops spend more time under fire from the Air Defenses and Archer Towers.

The Archer Towers are placed in each outer compartments of the base.
They provide balanced defensive coverage against both ground and air units.
Because they are evenly distributed, the base remains strong from every direction.

The Mortars are placed in the outer compartments of the base.
They are specifically positioned to counter spam attacks like BARCH, G-Barch, and mass goblins.
Their splash damage helps eliminate large groups of weak troops before they can deal too much damage.

Storages are spread across different compartments, unlike bases that cluster all storages together in one area. This makes it harder for attackers to loot everything. Each storage is in a separate compartment, forcing the attacker to take out the whole base to steal all the resources. never put the same type of storages on one side of the base, for example, if we put both the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. so in order to avoid that. we place them alternatively, just like this base.

When it comes to trap placement, they are positioned along common troop pathing routes.
Spring traps and giant bombs are placed in areas where hog riders, giants, and miners are most likely to travel. This allows us to catch them off guard.
Small bombs are positioned near outer walls to eliminate wall breakers and disrupt funneling. If attackers fail to open the base properly, their troops will walk around the outside instead of entering the core — completely ruining their plan.
Air bombs and seeking air mines are placed near air defenses to weaken incoming air troops before they can destroy the defenses.

Now coming to the outer buildings, you can customize their placement depending on your preference.
However, make sure not to place the same type of collectors together, because that would allow attackers to steal a large amount of loot very easily.
Another useful tip is to spread them out slightly, which helps prevent Electro Dragons from getting too much value with their chain lightning attacks.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS
Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 13 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 13 you can get Maximum of 45 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 13 :-
- 1 Lava Hound + 1 Head Hunter + 9 Archers (Recommended)
- 1 Lava Hound + 2 Head Hunter + 3 Goblins
- 2 Super Minnion + 2 Head Hunter + 3 Archers
- 1 Inferno Dragon + 2 Head Hunter + 7 Archers
- 1 Lava Hound + 1 Ice Golem
Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 13.
