BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, what’s up? Dark Barbarian here, and today we’re building a Town Hall 11 hybrid base that defends both your loot and trophies really well. I’ll go over how this base is structured and why it performs so effectively, so make sure you stick around for the full breakdown.

Let’s get started with the analysis!

Starting off, the Town Hall is right in the center of the base, heavily protected by layers of walls and key defenses. This placement ensures it doesn’t get taken down easily, helping you secure that one star and protect the loot stored inside.

One of the best aspects of this base is the compartmentalization. There are several compartments throughout the layout, which slow down enemy troops and break their pathing. Units like Giants, and Golems get stuck on walls, wasting time while your defenses pick them off one by one.

Moving on to the defense layout — all the defensive buildings are placed in a way that provides complete coverage around the entire base, leaving no weak spots open.

The Mortars are placed in outer compartments, which is great for dealing with spam attacks like BARCH, G Barch, and Mass Goblins. They cover the outer buildings effectively while still reaching into inner sections when needed.

Wizard Towers are placed on the outer ring of the base. This placement helps protect your loot from groups of troops like Minions, Bats, and Goblins, using splash damage to clear them quickly. They’re also spaced apart so they can’t be all zapped down by Lightning Spells at once.

Moving on to the archer towers, each outer compartment has two archer towers, carefully placed with enough space between them to create a balanced defense. They’re great for handling both ground and air attacks, which is exactly what we need for overall protection across the base.

Air Defenses are placed in separate compartments toward the core of the base. This placement makes it extremely difficult for attackers to destroy multiple air defenses using a single Lightning Spell combo. Their reach spans nearly the entire base, giving robust air protection. Combined with the Air Sweepers, which are directed diagonally, they help push back LavaLoon, Dragon, and Electro Dragon attacks.

At the center, we’ve got the Eagle Artillery, the most powerful defense at Town Hall 11. It covers the entire base, leaving just the first 7 tiles unprotected. Since it’s surrounded by high-HP buildings and protected by Infernos and X-Bows, it’s really hard for enemies to reach it early in the attack.

Speaking of Inferno Towers, they’re strategically placed there — one slightly toward the right and the other toward the top-left — to cover vital sections like the Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Dark Elixir Storage, and X-Bows.

To optimize their performance, adjusting the inferno tower mode based on the enemy armies is crucial. If you’re getting attacked more often by swarm armies like Miners, Bowlers, or Witches, set them to multi-target mode. But if your opponents usually use P.E.K.K.A.s, Electro Dragons, or Golems, go for single-target mode for higher damage output.

The X-Bows are distributed evenly in four key compartments and set to both ground and air mode. That setup gives them maximum coverage and flexibility since both types of attacks are common at Town Hall 11.

talking about cannons, they’re placed along the outer layers, providing strong defense against ground troops like Giants, Hog Riders, and Bowlers.

When it comes to storages, they’re spread across multiple compartments. A lot of poor base designs place all storages together, which makes it easier for attackers to loot everything. Here, each storage is separated so attackers have to clear the whole base to get all your resources. We’ve also made sure that the same types of storages aren’t placed on the same side—so attackers can’t just grab all your gold or elixir from one area. for example, if we put both gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker will be able to grab almost all of your gold merely by destroying this portion of the base. As a result, in order to avoid this. We alternate their placement, much like this base.

Now let’s discuss trap placements — I’ve carefully analyzed troop pathing, and after analyzing, spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.

we have placed those bombs out there so that they can take out the wall breakers, which can potentially ruin attackers funnel as the troops wouldn’t be able to go inside the base and they’ll end up going for the outer trash buildings which will end up ruining the attack.

Air Bombs and Seeking Air Mines are carefully spaced to weaken enemy air units so that Air Defenses and Archer Towers can finish them off faster.

When it comes to the outer buildings, I’ve placed them in an alternatively to avoid placing the same type of collectors and mines close together. I’ve noticed that most people don’t think about it when placing those outer buildings, so they end up putting the same type of collectors or mines all together. These collectors and mines become an easy target for attackers when placed together, so it’s important to spread them out to make it harder for them to be taken out.

And that wraps up the base analysis for this Town Hall 11 hybrid base.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-

  1. 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
  3. 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
  4. 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
  5. 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
  6. 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
