BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, dark here, today I’m presenting you a new TH11 base, I haven’t post one of these in like months, so I thought it was finally time to give you guys an updated TH11 base, please don’t forget to read the base analysis, because there I will explain each and every placement of the base and I’ll also answer any questions you may have,

Let’s do the Base Analysis!

First up, the Town Hall is placed right at the center of the base, as you’d expect in most of my hybrid layouts. This central position ensures it’s well-guarded since it’s not only a major source of loot but also accounts for one star in attacks.

One of this base’s standout features is the smart use of multiple compartments. These help to delay enemy troops, causing them to waste time and lose momentum. High-hitpoint units like golems and giants often get stuck behind walls, giving our defenses ample time to chip away at them.

Moving on to the defenses, they’re arranged to provide full coverage across the map, ensuring no side of the base is left exposed.

The mortars are placed in the outer sections of the base to counter spam strategies like mass goblins, GiBARCH, and BARCH. Although their focus is the perimeter, their range also reaches into the inner areas, keeping the base well-protected against swarms of weaker troops.

To maintain strong air and ground protection, archer towers are placed in alternating outer compartments. Their spacing ensures no blind spots, giving you consistent defense across all angles.

Wizard towers are placed toward the outer layer and near storage units. This setup ensures that they don’t all get wiped out at once and also gives storages some added splash defense against troops going after loot.

Air defenses are each set in their own compartment to avoid getting taken out by a single lightning spell combo. Their reach spans nearly the entire base, giving robust air protection. We’ve also added air sweepers in key areas to boost our defense against flying units like LavaLoon, Electro Dragons, and mass drags.

Eagle Artillery is right at the heart of the base—it’s the strongest weapon you have at Town Hall 11, so it belongs in the core. Its range hits nearly the entire base, except for a 7-tile radius which is still covered by other defenses nearby.

Inferno towers follow closely in importance behind the Eagle. That’s why they’re also placed near the core, covering vital defenses and buildings like the Town Hall, dark elixir storage, and X-Bows. To optimize their performance, adjusting the inferno tower mode based on the enemy armies is crucial, Multiple mode works best against armies with lower hitpoints but larger troop numbers such as miners, bowlers, and witches, while single mode is ideal against high hitpoint troops such as electro dragons, pekkas, and golems.

Cannons are set where they’re most effective, offering balanced ground protection throughout the layout.

X-Bows are locked into four well-defended compartments and are set to target both air and ground units. Even though setting them to ground gives more range, the versatility of hitting both types makes a bigger difference here.

In this base design, storages are strategically spread across multiple compartments to prevent easy access for attackers. Unlike rookie base designers who concentrate storages in the center, this base ensures that the attacker must conquer the entire base to obtain all the loot.

Additionally, it’s crucial to avoid placing the same type of storages on one side of the base, as it allows attackers to quickly seize a large portion of resources for example, if we put both gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker will be able to grab almost all of your gold merely by destroying this portion of the base. As a result, in order to avoid this. We alternate their placement, much like this base.

Trap placements are based on analyzing many replays. I’ve identified common drop zones and troop pathing areas, and set traps there to deal maximum damage.

Spring traps are placed in spots where troops like hogs and giants typically move, giving us a great edge against ground-heavy attacks.

Bombs and giant bombs are positioned out to take out wall breakers, which helps mess up the attacker’s funnel. If their troops can’t breach the base properly, they end up wandering the perimeter, ruining their plan.

Air bombs and seeking air mines are spaced out with purpose—they support air defenses by weakening enemy air troops so that air defenses can finish them off faster.

Outer buildings are set in a mixed pattern to avoid placing the same collectors next to each other. A lot of people overlook this, but clumping similar buildings makes it easier for attackers to clear them out. Spreading them out forces attackers to work harder for each target.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-

  1. 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
  3. 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
  4. 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
  5. 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
  6. 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
