BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey everyone, this is Dark Barbarian, and we’re building a brand-new Town Hall 11 hybrid base. This layout is designed to protect your loot and maintain your trophy level. I’ll break down the structure and strategy behind this base in the analysis section, so stick around to understand why this base might be the right choice for you.

Let’s do the Base Analysis!

First up, the Town Hall is positioned dead center, just like in most of my hybrid bases. That central location ensures it’s heavily protected, as it holds a decent chunk of your loot and counts for one star during an attack.

One of the most notable features of this base is the high number of compartments. These segmented sections really slow down enemy troops, making them waste time or lose their momentum. Troops like golems, giants, and ice golems often get stuck behind walls, allowing your defenses to take them down before they can do much damage.

Now, let’s talk about how the defensive buildings are arranged. They’re evenly distributed so that the entire base is covered from all angles. No side is left exposed.

Mortars are placed on the outer layer to defend against spam strategies like Mass Goblins, G BARCH, and BARCH. Even though they’re positioned near the edge, their splash radius allows them to support nearby defenses as well, so they’re not just defending outside buildings.

every outer compartments of the base are fortified with archer towers, carefully positioned with ample space between them, providing comprehensive protection against air and ground attacks.

Wizard Towers are spread along the outer areas and placed near resource storages. Their splash damage helps defend against groups of troops trying to steal loot and prevents them from all being destroyed at once.

To guard against Lightning Spell attacks, each Air Defense is placed in a separate compartment. This keeps them from being easily wiped out by a spell combo. Their range covers most of the base inside the walls, and when paired with Air Sweepers, the base becomes much harder to crack with strategies like LavaLoon, Mass Dragons, and Electro Dragons.

Eagle Artillery is placed right at the core of the base since it’s the strongest and most vital defense at Town Hall 11. Its coverage spans nearly the entire base, except the first 7 tiles, which are already guarded by surrounding defenses.

Inferno Towers are the next priority after the Eagle. We’ve placed them in the core to protect vital structures like the Town Hall, Dark Elixir Storage, Eagle Artillery, and X-Bows. Set them to multi-target mode if you’re often hit by swarms with lower hitpoints but larger troop numbers like miners, witches, or bowlers. Switch to single-target mode if you’re facing high HP troops like Golems, PEKKAs, or Electro Dragons.

Cannons are positioned thoughtfully across the base, adding strong ground defense where it’s most needed.

X-Bows are protected in four different compartments and are set to target both ground and air units. Even though you could set them to ground for more range, I’ve found it more effective to leave them on dual mode because this base often gets hit by air armies too.

When it comes to storages, they’re spread across multiple compartments. A lot of poor base designs place all storages together, which makes it easier for attackers to loot everything. Here, each storage is separated so attackers have to clear the whole base to get all your resources. We’ve also made sure that the same types of storages aren’t placed on the same side—so attackers can’t just grab all your gold or elixir from one area. for example, if we put both gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker will be able to grab almost all of your gold merely by destroying this portion of the base. As a result, in order to avoid this. We alternate their placement, much like this base.

Now, let’s discuss traps. After reviewing many attacks on this base, I’ve placed spring traps where troops like hogs and giants typically walk. This really helps counter ground-heavy armies.

Giant Bombs and small bombs are placed to catch wall breakers, which can mess up an attacker’s funnel if they fail to break in properly. If wall breakers don’t succeed, their troops often wander around the base, losing direction and time.

Air Bombs and Seeking Air Mines are carefully spaced to weaken enemy air units so that Air Defenses and Archer Towers can finish them off faster.

For the outer buildings, I’ve arranged them in an alternating pattern to avoid placing similar collectors together. Most players don’t pay attention to this, and it ends up making loot easier to grab. This setup makes it harder for attackers to take out buildings with just a few troops.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-

  1. 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
  3. 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
  4. 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
  5. 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
  6. 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
