BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, Dark Barbarian here, and today I’m bringing you a brand-new Town Hall 10 Hybrid Base. As you know, hybrid bases are designed to protect both your loot and your trophies at the same time — and that’s exactly what this layout is built for. Whether you’re farming resources or pushing through higher leagues, this base is going to make things a lot harder for attackers.

As always, don’t skip the base analysis because I’ll break down the logic behind every placement, which will help you understand why this base works so well.

Let’s jump into the base analysis.

Starting off with the Town Hall, it’s safely placed in the central compartment of the base. This is crucial because the Town Hall is worth one star and holds a huge chunk of your loot. By placing it in the core, we make sure it’s not an easy target for attackers trying to grab an easy star or your resources.

One of the standout features of this base is the high number of compartments. These compartments are spread across the layout to slow down enemy troops significantly. Units like giants and golems often get stuck breaking walls while defenses continuously chip away at them. This delay gives your defenses more time to deal damage, which is exactly what we want.

When it comes to defenses, they are positioned in such a way that they protect the whole base and keep it strong from all sides.

Mortars are placed toward the outer layer of the base to defend against spammy low-cost armies like BARCH, GiBARCH, or mass goblins. Despite being near the edges, their range still covers a good portion of the base, so they’re not just protecting the outside buildings but the inner layers too.

Moving on to Wizard Towers, they are evenly distributed around the base to provide solid splash damage coverage. Their placement ensures that no side of the base is vulnerable to swarm attacks like balloons, miners, or groups of bowlers.

When it comes to air defenses, they are placed in separate compartments to avoid being wiped out together by lightning spells. Their coverage reaches almost every part of the base, including some of the outer buildings. They’re also paired with air sweepers, which push back enemy air troops, making attacks like LavaLoon, mass dragons, or baby dragon spam much less effective.

Next, let’s talk about the Inferno Towers, arguably the most powerful defenses at Town Hall 10. I’ve placed them in the core, where they are both well-protected and can cover many key defenses and storages, including the Town Hall, wizard towers, X-Bows, and air defenses.

You can switch between single and multiple target modes depending on what you’re facing, For low-HP, high-count troops like Miners, Witches, and Bowlers, use Multi-Target Mode, and for stronger, high-HP troops like Golems, Electro Dragons, and P.E.K.K.As use Single-Target Mode against them.

Archer Towers are spread out in different outer compartments to give consistent coverage across the entire base. This placement helps maintain balance and makes the base more effective against both ground and air attacks.

The X-Bows are positioned in such a way that they cover a large portion of the base. I’ve set them to target both ground and air troops because we want to be ready for any type of attack, whether it’s a ground-heavy push or an air raid.

Cannons are placed to create a solid defensive balance, ensuring even coverage and no weak spots throughout the base for ground troops.

For storage placement, I’ve intentionally spread them out across different compartments. This way, the attacker can’t get all your loot by breaking into a single section. They’ll have to fight through multiple layers and compartments, which greatly reduces how much loot they can steal.

Also, don’t place both of the same type of storage on the same side — for example, putting both Gold Storages on one side would allow the attacker to steal nearly all your gold just by targeting that section. As a result, in order to avoid this. We alternate their placement, much like this base.

Now coming to the placement of the traps, after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps, and giant bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.

we have placed those bombs out there so that they can take out the wall breakers, which can potentially ruin the attacker’s funnel as the troops wouldn’t be able to go inside the base and they’ll end up going for the outer trash buildings which will end up ruining the attack.

Air bombs and air mines are strategically placed throughout the base to help in the defense against air attacks.

Lastly, let’s talk about the outer buildings. I’ve placed them in an alternating pattern and avoided grouping the same type of collectors together. Many players make the mistake of clustering similar collectors, which makes them easy targets. By spreading them out, we make it harder for opponents to clear the outer layer quickly.

That’s it for the base analysis.

I’ve left a copy link for this base below, or you can copy this base through any of those links, unless you want to copy it manually, that’s pretty much it for the base analysis, I’ll see you guys in the next one.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-

  1. 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
  3. 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
  4. 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
  5. 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
  6. 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
