BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, this is Dark Barbarian, and today we’re posting a new Hybrid Base for Town Hall 10. This base will help us protect our loot while also maintaining our trophy count. In the base analysis part of the post, I’ll dive deeper into this base, explaining its strengths and weaknesses so you can decide if it’s worth switching to.

Let’s do the Base Analysis!

The Town Hall is securely positioned in the center of the base, just like in my other hybrid base designs. This placement is key because the Town Hall is worth one star and holds a significant amount of loot, making its protection a top priority.

One of the standout features of this base is the large number of compartments. These compartments are strategically spread throughout the base, making it harder for opponents to progress. Their troops like giants and golems often get stuck behind the walls while the defenses continuously take them down.

When it comes to defenses, they are positioned in such a way that they protect the whole base and keep it strong from all sides.

Mortars are primarily aimed at the outer areas of the base to defend against spam attacks like Mass Goblins, G-BARCH, and BARCH. However, they’re not limited to protecting the outer buildings—they’re strategically positioned to also provide coverage for the inner defenses of the base.

The air defenses are strategically spaced to minimize the risk of being taken out all at once by lightning spells. Each air defense is placed in a separate compartment, offering coverage across most of the base, including some outer buildings.

They’re also paired effectively with air sweepers, creating a stronger defense against air-based attacks like Lava Loons and Mass Dragons.

wizard towers are placed at a distance from one another in different compartments, so that they can provide air splash damage coverage to pretty much most of the base covering a lot of defenses in their range.

Archer towers are placed in outer compartment at proper distances apart in order to protect the entire base from air troops; making it more effective against all types of attacks, both air or ground.

Cannons are appropriately positioned to offer a nice balance to the base, so overall the defenses are evenly spread throughout the base.

inferno towers are pretty much the most important defense we have at town hall 10, so it is our utmost priority to keep them safe while making full use of their potential to increase the effectiveness of the base, hence, I’ve decided to place them near the core of the base, because here, they are well-protected as well as their range covers a lot of main defenses and important stuff like town hall, wizard towers, dark elixir storage, air defenses and X-bows, .

you can set the mode of inferno tower according to the armies you’re getting attacked with, multiple mode is recommended for low hitpoint and high troop count armies like miners, bowlers, witches, , but against stronger armies with high hitpoint and lower troop count like golems, electro dragons and pekkas, single-mode would be a better choice.

The X-bows have been arranged in a way that ensures they cover a significant portion of the base, They’re set to attack both ground and air troops since I was facing attacks from both types of troops.

The bomb tower is the ultimate protection for hog, giant, and miner armies, since it acts as a trap by attracting defense assaulting troops and dealing significant damage to those troops once destroyed.

When it comes to storages, they are spread evenly throughout multiple compartments; most rookie base designers make the mistake of placing all storages in the center and defenses on the outer compartments. As a result, once the attacker has penetrated the compartment of defenses, they have access to all of the loot.

Because the storages are in different compartments in this base, the attacker will have to take out the entire base in order to acquire all of the loot.

Also remember to never put the same type of storages on the same side of the base; for example, if we put both gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker will be able to grab almost all of your gold merely by destroying this portion of the base. As a result, in order to avoid this, We alternate their placement, much like this base.

our Dark Elixir storage is well protected in the core compartment of the base, which is quite hard to get into, which means that our dark elixir is going to be safe in this base.

Now, let’s talk about the trap placements. After analyzing numerous attacks on this base, spring traps and giant bombs have been strategically positioned in different compartments along the pathing of defense-targeting troops like hogs and giants. This setup significantly strengthens the base against ground attacks.

We’ve placed bombs near likely wall breaker’s entry points to disrupt the attacker’s funnel. By taking out the wall breakers, troops will be unable to enter the base and will end up targeting the outer trash buildings, effectively ruining the attack strategy.

Additionally, air bombs and air mines are spread strategically throughout the base to enhance our defense against air attacks.

Now, focusing on the outer buildings, I’ve placed them in an alternating pattern, avoiding grouping the same types of collectors together. I’ve noticed that many players don’t pay enough attention to the placement of these buildings and end up clustering similar collectors. This makes them an easy target for attackers. By spreading them out, it becomes much harder for opponents to take them down efficiently.

That’s it for the Base Analysis

I’ve left a copy link for this base below, or you can copy this base through any of those links, unless you want to copy it manually, that’s pretty much it for the base analysis, I’ll see you guys in the next one.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-

  1. 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
  2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
  3. 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
  4. 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
  5. 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
  6. 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
