BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey guys I’m Dark BarBarian, welcome back to another video, today we are making a new Town Hall 9 Hybrid and Trophy Base, this base is going to help you in saving both your loot as well as your trophies, along with that we are going to do a complete breakdown of this base in the base analysis part of the video, so make sure you don’t forget to watch that, it’ll help you in understanding why I’ve put certain buildings on certain spots, so now I’m gonna let the speedbuild play, see you in the base analysis.

Let’s do the Base Analysis!

As u guys can see, Townhall is well protected in the central part of the base just like my other hybrid base designs because it is important to keep it safe and secure as it is worth one star and has a decent amount of loot in it. 

One of the best things about this base is the number of compartments it has, there are compartments literally everywhere, this helps us in slowing down opponents’ troops, which ultimately leads to time fail or opponent run out of troops. most of the time opponents troops like giants and golems are usually found stuck on walls.

now some of you might have a problem with this cannon on why it’s placed outside, well, its because we didn’t have enough walls to keep all the storages and defenses inside but placing this cannon outside isn’t necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, I’d say its a good feature of this base, because it kinda ruins attackers plan, for example, if an opponent wants to attack from this side, instead of going for this side, giant go for the cannon as this is closest defenses they can get to,

 while they’ll be going for that cannon, all the defenses on this side will be targeting them, after destroying the cannon giants will go anywhere they want, 

what this does is, bring uncertainty to the attack, as opponents troops aren’t going where they want them to go, this can potentially lead to panic by the attacker and eventually a fail attack. 

Mortars are evenly placed in different compartments and their range pretty much covers the whole base, placing them there also helps us in tackling Spam attacks like BARCH and Mass Goblins.

Archer towers are arranged in such a way that their range covers the whole base, which means the base is well secured against air attacks from all sides.

The wizard towers are placed in these four well-protected compartments near the core of the base away from each other so that they don’t get taken out altogether and strengthen the core of the base, ultimately leading to better defensive effectiveness.

Air defenses are placed away from one another in different compartments to protect them from being taken out by lightning spells in a group. they are placed in compartments near the core of the base, they have air sweepers well paired with them contributing to an increase in the protection against air attacks like lava loon, mass dragons.

Cannons fill the rest of the spaces in the base and provide a great balance to the base which helps us in defending against ground attack armies.

The Xbows are well protected in the central compartment such a way they provide protection to our most of the defenses, we’ve set them on both ground and air as we want protection against both air and ground attacks, the fact that they are placed right in the core of the base makes it hard for the opponents to reach them and they are usually the last defenses left to be taken out.

Now, coming to the storages, they are placed in different compartments, unlike the bases you usually see where most of the storages are placed in a single compartment. each storage is placed in a different compartment that means the opponent has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot.

our Dark Elixir storage is well protected in the core compartment of the base, which is quite hard to get into, which means that our dark elixir is going to be safe in this base.

Now coming to the placement of the traps, after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps, and giant bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.

the reason why I put that giant bomb over there is, when someone attacks using Giants and wizards what usually happens is that giants go for the defensive buildings while wizards go towards the outer buildings, this is where we can take advantage of this opportunity and take all of them out using a giant bomb, this trick worked for me quite often in the previous builds so I added it in this build too.

now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice. just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily.

Even though the base itself is strong enough, having troops in your clan castle can help a lot, as clan castle troops will help you in wasting opponents troops and time, so having valkyries for normal defenses and Electro dragon for war defense is recommended but if your clan can’t donate you those, anything will do the job. BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 9 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 9 you can get Maximum of 30 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 9 :-

1. 1 Electro Dragon (Recommended)
2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 1 Wizard
3. 1 Golem
4. 1 Witch + 4 Wizards + 2 Archers
5. 1 Lava Hound 
6. 1 Dragon + 2 Wizard + 2 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 9.
