BASE DESCRIPTION 

Hey guys, I’m Dark BarBarian, today we’re making a new Townhall 9 Hybrid base, this base will help you in saving loot while maintaining trophies, so I’m sure you’ll like it don’t forget to watch the base analysis where I’ll do a detailed breakdown of the base so that you can understand why I placed certain buildings on certain places

The first thing you can notice is that the town hall is well protected in the center because it has some loot in it and it is worth one star.

Now coming to the defenses, they are placed in such a way that they cover the whole base and the base remains strong from all the sides. The wizard towers are placed in different compartments away from one another so that they don’t get taken out altogether and provide splash damage coverage to most of the base. they are placed in such a way they provide protection to both main defenses in the core and the defenses towards the outer side of the base.

Archer towers are placed in each corner of the base so that they cover pretty much the whole base which means no side is left weaker to any kind of attacks. Mortars start losing their importance as we start moving higher town hall levels, so there is no point in keeping them well protected in the center as they don’t provide much protection in return. we have placed them more towards the outer part of the base so that they can help us in countering spam attacks like BARCH, Mass Goblins, etc, They too are evenly placed and they cover the whole base.

The air defenses are well protected in the core of the base to counter attacks like lava loon and mass dragon, they pretty much cover the whole base and air sweepers are well paired with those air defenses, so overall this base performs pretty well against air attacks, I have added air attack replays, in the end, to show you how well this base works against them.
the Xbows are well protected in the center and they are set to both ground and air because you’ll be getting attacked by both ground and air armies, setting it on ground only just for the increased range isn’t really worth it
Both the heroes are placed away from each other, so that opponent can’t take them both out at once

Now Coming to storages:- they are evenly placed in different compartments, which means the attacker has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot. the storages are protected between 2 layers of defenses which means they are quite well protected
the dark elixir storage is placed in the core of the base and to protect it, we have placed dual teslas next to it and our queen on that side of the base and if you have a double cannon you can place it there to increase the protection further.

Now coming to the placement of the traps:- after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.

All 4 teslas are placed in the core of the base, which really helps in making this base stronger, the seeking air mines are placed near the air defenses so that they can help the air defenses in taking out the lava hound.Now coming to the outer buildings:- you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice, if you are quite active and play regularly you can spread them out more to make the funnel trickier as you wouldn’t have to worry about people stealing your loot from outer collectors, as you’ll be collecting loot from them regularly, but if you are not that active you can do it the way I made it, as you won’t have to worry about stealing your loot as they’ll be in the range of defenses, it’s up to you, just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily.

This base is Anti Giant Wizard, Anti BARCH, Anti Giant Healer, Anti Lavaloon. Since the Air Defenses in the base are placed in the center of the base, they are well protected to protect against air attacks like Balloon Rage, Mass Dragon, Dragons & Minions and Dragloon. The traps are placed in the right spots as well which counters attacks like Mass Hog and Giant wizard attacks. It can also defend against as well which counters attacks like Mass Hog and Giant Wizard attacks. It can also defend against some newly upgraded Town hall 10 attackers with ease. So, overall in this base layout all the defensive buildings are well placed, hence, this base can easily defend against any Air attacking and Ground Attacking strategy.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 9 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 9 you can get Maximum of 30 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 9 :-

1. 1 Electro Dragon (Recommended)
2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 1 Wizard
3. 1 Golem
4. 1 Witch + 4 Wizards + 2 Archers
5. 1 Lava Hound 
6. 1 Dragon + 2 Wizard + 2 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 9.
