BASE DESCRIPTION
Hey guys I’m Dark Barbarian, welcome back to another video, its been a while but today i’ve got a really good Town Hall 7 Hybrid base for you guys, this base is going to help you in saving both your loot as well as your trophies, along with that, as always we are going to do a complete breakdown of this base in the base analysis part of the post, so make sure you don’t forget to watch that, it’ll help you in understanding why I’ve put certain buildings on certain spots
The first thing you’ll notice is that the townhall in the center is well defended because it contains loot and is worth one star, which is one of the basic rules to remember while building a hybrid base.
Mortars are evenly placed in different compartments and their range pretty much covers the whole base, placing them there also helps us in tackling Spam attacks like BARCH and Mass Goblins.
archer towers are placed away from one another in different compartments to give them appropriate distance and spacing. they are placed in four corners of the base, so that they provide solid and even coverage to the buildings inside the base as well as the buildings outside
air defenses are placed in the core compartment of the base where they are placed at enough distance from one another so that they don’t get taken out by lightning spells all together, this core placement of the air defense is crucial in stopping mass dragon attacks because air defenses being in the core makes them one of the last buildings opponents dragons can reach, by the time they reach there most of them will be gone, and also those air defenses have a air sweeper well paired with them contributing to an increase in the protection against air attacks like mass loon, mass dragons.
wizard towers are placed at a distance from one another in a well-protected compartment in the core of the base, so that they can provide air splash damage coverage to most of the base covering a lot of important defenses in their range.
Cannons are placed right where they are needed providing to the overall balance of the base and making this base perform pretty well against ground attacks.
storages are thoughtfully placed so that we never put the same type of storages on one side of the base, for example, if we put both the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. so in order to avoid that. we place them alternatively, just like this base.
our Dark Elixir storage is well protected in the core comparment of the base, which is quite hard to get into, which means that our dark elixir is going to be safe in this base. and the dark elixir drill is next to the barbarian king so its going to be fairly protected as well.
Now coming to the placement of the traps, after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.
these two teslas are strategically placed, one of them is placed right near to core next to air defenses in order to become a nuisance for the mass dragon attackers so that tesla can deal critical damage to those dragons while they are stuck on high hitpoint buildings like storages etc
the other tesla is placed outside, which can act as a bait to pull and attract troops towards itself where we have also placed a giant bomb, so that troops not only get distracted by tesla, the giant bomb deals huge damage to them which forces opponent to use early heal, making it harder for the opponent to defeat the rest of the base.
now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice. just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors altogether, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS
Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 7 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 7 you can get Maximum of 20 housing spaces in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for the defense at Town Hall 7.
- 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Wizards + 2 Archers
- 1 Witch + 2 Wizards (Recommended)
- 2 Valkyries + 1 Wizard
- 1 Dragon
Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 7.
