Hey guys this is dark barbarian, and today we are making a new Town Hall 6 hybrid base, this base is a hybrid base which means it will help us in saving our loot while still maintaining our trophies, I’m gonna talk more about this base in-depth in the base analysis part below, which will help you in understanding ins and outs of the base, so that you can decide for yourself if this base is worth switching to,
Let’s do the Base Analysis!
First and foremost, the town hall is safely protected in the base’s middle compartment, we want to save that one star and the loot it contains.
When it comes to the defences, they are positioned such that they cover the whole base and keep it secure from all sides.
Our two most important defences, the wizard tower and the air defences, are placed in well-protected in the core of the base. Placing them there also means they protect entire the base from enemies troops. The air sweeper works well in combination with air defences to increase protection against air attacks like mass balloon attacks.
Wizard are placed in such way that they not only cover protect the main defenses and town hall in the central compartment, their range also covers most of the outer defenses and the storages to utilize their splash damage abilties completely.
Mortars are placed towards the base’s outer compartments, because we want to protect ourselves from spam attacks like BARCH and mass goblins.
The archer towers are strategically placed in these three corners to effectively cover the whole base; This makes this base highly resistant to air attacks.
Cannons are strategically placed where they are needed, assisting in maintaining the base’s balance and allowing it to defend itself effectively against ground attacks.
Now, coming to the storages, Unlike the bases you usually see, where the most of the storages are placed in a single compartment, they are placed in separate compartments. Because each storage is placed in a different compartment, the enemy must destroy the entire base to obtain all the loot.
The storages have also been set up alternately so that even if the enemy destroys this area of the base, we won’t lose all of the storages for the same type of resource. For example, if we had all of the gold storages on this side of the base, the enemy could steal almost all of your gold by simply destroying this area of the base. We place them alternately, much like our base, since if we are going to lose loot, it’s better to lose it in a balanced way than to lose all the loot of one kind of resource.
Now coming to the placement of the traps, After observing major attacks on this base, spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed in various locations in keeping with the movement of the defence attacking troops, such as hogs and giants, which helps in protecting this base against ground attacks.
we have placed those bombs out there so that they can take out the wall breakers, which can potentially ruin attackers funnel as the troops wouldn’t be able to go inside the base and they’ll end up going for the outer trash buildings which will end up ruining the attack. and these two bombs are also protect these collectors and mines from BARCH and goblins.
These air bombs are put in the core of the base to support our air attacks defending buildings such as air defences, archer towers, and wizard towers.
coming to the outer buildings, I’ve placed them alternatively, like I’ve avoided placing the same kind of collectors close to one another, I see most people not putting enough thought while placing those outer buildings so they end up placing the same kind of collectors all together, these collectors become an easy target to attackers when placed together, hence it is important to spread them out to make it harder for opponents to take them out.
That’s it for the Base Analysis
I’ll be honest with you, this base will be more than enough on its own if the attackers attack you without clan castle troops, but if they have something in their clan castle, you’ll get Rekt every time unless you have something in your clan castle of defence as well. That is why, i usually advise lower town halls to have something in their cc for defence.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS
Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 6 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 6 you can get Maximum of 20 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for the defense at Town Hall 6 :-
- 1 Witch + 2 Wizards (Recommended)
- 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Wizards + 2 Archers
- 2 Valkyries + 1 Wizard
- 1 Dragon
