Hey what’s up guys I’m dark barbarian, and today I’m back with a Builder hall 8 base, I haven’t done one of these for a long time, this base has been tried and tested against all popular attack strategies available at BH8 so I can definitely recommend this base to you, I will discuss all the placements of this one by one in base analysis part below.
Let’s do the Base Analysis!
As you can see, the builder hall is well protected in the center of the base and is protected by all of our defenses; this is an important element of any builder hall base I design since we don’t want opponents easy steal our second star.
This base’s core contains Bh8’s most vital defenses, such as multi mortar, mega tesla, air bombs, lava launcher, and giant cannon, this makes the core region of the base, extremely strong and hard to penetrate.
Now, let’s talk about multi mortar and air bombs. I like to keep these two defenses together because they complement each other against attacks like Mass Night Witch, because the long range of multi mortar helps take out the night witches while the air bomb helps take out the bats that try to destroy our multi mortar, so combining multi mortar and air bomb is a great way to deal with such armies.
On the other hand, Mega Tesla pairs up with air bombs, and their combined damage is fairly significant, thus when these two operate together, they can possibly defeat any high Hitpoint air Troops, such as a drop ship or a baby dragon.
Cannons and double cannons are placed in a way that their range covers the whole base and they help in making the lower part of the base stronger.
The archer towers are placed in such a way that they cover almost the entire base, and when combined with the firecrackers, which also cover the entire base, make this base an absolute beast against air attacks. I’ll add some air attacking replays at the end to demonstrate how this base absolutely destroys air attacks.
We have two crushers at bh8, and they are separated by a distance to avoid being taken out all at once. However, placing them at a distance but on the same side allows the opponent to easily avoid the crushers by simply attacking from the opposite side, which is why they’re also placed at two different sides in our base, which means opponents will have to face them regardless of where they begin their attack. The guard post is placed close to the crusher, so that troops from the guard post can distract the opponent’s battle machine while it’s being targeted by our crusher.
In terms of trap placement, I’ve put these traps after analyzing opponent’s troops pathing on our base against numerous tactics, such that opponent’s troops are most likely to activate them when attacking our base.
All push traps are placed in areas where most opponents will start their attacks. Push traps redirect troops away from the base, stopping the opponent’s forces from overpowering our defenses at once and allowing our defenses more time to respond.
To strengthen our base against both ground and air attacking armies, we have set all mega mines and some mines to ground mode and some mines to air mode, and positioned them in different compartments based on the path of the opposing troops on this base.
Similarly, spring traps are placed in areas where opposing troops are more likely to step on them; most people using ground armies prefer to take out multi mortar and crushers first, so spring traps are placed there to take out giants in their path before they can reach our defenses, thereby making this base more resistant to ground attacks.
When it comes to the outer buildings, they are strategically placed at a distance from one another to disrupt the opponents’ funnel, and you can see how we’ve placed high hitpoint buildings like the laboratory, clocktower, and storages in front of our defenses, forcing the opponents to exert extra effort to reach our defenses.
