Hey what’s up guys I’m dark barbarian, and today I’m back with a Builder hall 8 base, I haven’t done one of these for a long time, this base has been tried and tested against all popular attack strategies available at BH8 so I can definitely recommend this base to you, I will discuss all the placements of this one by one in base analysis part of this post.
Let’s do the Base Analysis!
As you can see, the builder hall is well protected in the center of the base, and covered by all of our defenses, this is a key feature of every builder hall base I make since we don’t want opponents easily snatching our second star.
Now coming to the defenses, they are placed in such a way that they cover the whole base and the base remains strong from all the sides and we have made sure to place our most important defenses like multi mortar, air bomb, and mega tesla right in the core.
let’s talk about these main defenses in depth
Multi mortar is placed in its own compartment in the core of the base, and its range encompasses almost the whole base except first four tiles, which are protected by other defenses.
To defend against night witch attacks, the air bomb is combined with multi mortar in the center.
multi mortar is a major threat to night witches, while air bomb is a major threat to her bats, so when both these buildings are placed together they become a hard counter to mass Night witch attack.
The mega tesla is positioned in the center and right next to it is placed our roaster, both these defenses complement each other very well as mega tesla deals alot of damage at once to high hitpoint troops while roaster on the other hand helps in taking out low hitpoint troops by its splash damage capabilities.
we have two crushers at bh8 and both crushers are placed at a distance to avoid them being taken out all at once. However, placing them at a distance but on the same side allows the opponent to easily avoid the crushers by simply attacking from the opposite side, which is why in our base they’re also placed at two different sides, which means opponents will have to face them regardless of where they begin their attack
the guard post is placed close to the crusher, so that troops from the guard post can distract the opponent’s battle machine while it’s being targeted by our crusher.
archer towers are placed in such a way they cover pretty much the whole base and pairing them with those firecrackers that also cover the whole base, makes this base an absolute beast against air attacks, I’ll add some air attacking replays, in the end, to show you this base absolutely destroys air attacks.
cannons and double cannon is placed in a way that their range covers a huge portion of the base, so no side is left weaker to ground attacks.
now coming to the trap’s placement, I’ve placed these traps after observing opponent’s troops pathing on this base against multiple strategies, so opponent’s troops are most likely to trigger them while attacking our base.
All push traps are put in those spots where most opponents may execute their attacks. Push traps move troops away from the base, preventing the opponent’s forces from overwhelming our defenses all at once and giving our defenses more time to respond.
to strengthen our base against ground attacking armies, we have set all mines and mega mines to ground mode and placed them in different compartments according to the opponent’s troops pathing on this base.
similarly, spring traps are placed in spots where opponent’s troops are more likely to step on them, most people using ground armies like taking out multi mortar and crushers first, hence spring traps are placed there to take out giants in their path before they can reach our defenses, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.
coming to the outer buildings, they are smartly placed at a distance from one another to ruin opponents funnel, and you can see how we’ve placed high hitpoint buildings like laboratory, clocktower and storages in front of our defenses, so the opponents will have to put extra effort to reach our defenses.
