Hey guys I’m Dark Barbarian, welcome back to another post, today we are making a new Town Hall 11 Hybrid and Trophy Base, this base is actually a TH11 adaptation of my TH8 base that I posted like 2 months ago, but I didn’t make this base, it was sent to me by Hans Ludin, a subscriber of this channel, he really liked that TH8 base but since he was a TH11 he couldn’t use it, so he made the TH11 version of that base and sent it to me on email to test this out, and I have to say it is really working well, So a huge thanks to him for sharing this base, and if you want to learn more about it, make sure you stay around for the base analysis part of the video, where I explain why the buildings are positioned the way they are, but before that… I’ll see you guys after the speed build.
Let’s do the Base Analysis!
Let’s start with the central compartment
The eagle artillery is put in the central compartment of the base since it is the most powerful and vital defense at Town Hall 11, thus it only makes sense to place it there right in the core.
The clan castle is also placed in the center to make it somewhat harder for opponents to lure the defensive troops in our clan castle as the range of clan castle ends within the walls of the base, also if you have your resources stored in your clan castle, having it placed in the core of the base, definitely makes it much more protected.
As always the town hall is placed in the central compartment as well, because it is important to keep it safe and secure because it is worth one star and holds a reasonable amount of loot.
The last building that is placed in the core of the base is the dark elixir storage, it is pretty evident why its placed here, because its the safest spot in the base, and you definitely don’t want to place your dark elixir storage in a spot where it can be easily taken out, otherwise it’s gonna take you a long long time to max out those heroes.
Another amazing feature of this base is the significant number of compartments. This base has lots of compartments, which helps to slow down the opponent’s attack because troops are frequently blocked on these walls while the defenses are attacking them.
As we progress up the town hall levels, mortars lose their significance, thus there’s no reason in having them well protected in the centre or near the center of the base as they don’t give enough protection in return. We’ve positioned them outside the base to assist in the protection of our collectors and mines against spam attacks such as BARCH and Mass Goblins etc.
Archer towers are arranged in such a way that their range spans the whole base, ensuring that the base is effectively protected from all sides.
The wizard towers are spaced out so that they don’t get knocked down all at once while still maintaining the base’s balance. They are positioned in such a way that they protect both inside storages and defenses towards the outer side of the base.
Talking about air defenses, to avoid being taken down by lightning spells as a group, air defenses are separated into multiple compartments. They are deployed in compartments near the base’s core, and they are combined with air sweepers, which contribute to increased defense against air attacks such as lava loons, mass dragons, and Electro dragons.
The bomb towers and two giant bombs are placed in front of our air defenses to deal against the attack strategies with the opponent first try to take out the air defenses with some ground troops like hogs etc then take down the rest of the base with air troops, so having those bomb towers and giant bombs in there definitely helps against such strategies.
After the eagle artillery, inferno towers are the most important defense we have at town hall 11, so keeping them safe while making full use of their potential to increase the effectiveness of the base is our top priority. As a result, I’ve decided to place them near the core of the base, where they are well protected and their range covers a lot of main defenses and important stuff like xbows, town hall, and dark elixir storage, among other things.
You must configure the inferno tower mode in accordance with the armies you face; if you face lower hitpoint but higher troop count armies, such as miners, bowlers, and witches, you should use multiple mode; if you face high hitpoint troops, such as electro dragons, pekkas, and golems, you should use single mode.
Xbows are well protected in these four compartments near the core, and they are set to both ground and air because, as I saw, I was targeted by both ground and air armies, so setting it to ground just for the additional range isn’t really worth it.
Cannons are strategically placed where they are needed, contributing to the overall balance of the base and allowing it to defend itself effectively against ground attacks.
When it comes to storages, they are arranged in pairs of two in separate compartments apart from one another, so they don’t get taken out all at once, and they’re also positioned alternately, so you don’t lose all of that one type of resource if opponents take out some portion of the base.
In regards to trap placement, I’ve seen plenty of attacks on this base and discovered certain areas where most opponents are likely to drop their troops, as well as pathings where troops are most likely to walk through, and I’ve planted these traps in those areas to make maximum use of them.
I’ve already explained why those giant bombs are placed there, those spring traps are placed between the buildings so they fall in the path of opponents troops while they’re on their way from one building to another.
We have placed those bombs out there so that they can take out the wall breakers, which can potentially ruin attackers funnel as the troops wouldn’t be able to go inside the base and they’ll end up going for the outer trash buildings which will end up ruining the attack.
Now coming to the outer buildings, they are placed with a distance of two tiles between them to break electro dragon’s chain attack and the gold mines and elixir collector are placed alternatively in different spots instead of placing them all together, as that would make it really easy for opponents to steal your resources from them.
That’s it for the Base Analysis.
Even if your base is powerful enough on its own, having defensive troops in your clan castle will benefit you a lot, since clan castle troops can help you waste opponents’ troops and time. Having clan castle troops is necessary to make the maximum use of our base’s centralised clan castle function. Now go straight to the description I’ve left a copy link for this base in the description, so that you can conveniently copy it. That concludes this post; I’ll see you in the next one.

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS
Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-
- 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
- 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
- 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
- 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
- 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
- 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer
Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
