BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey Guys, i’m Dark Barbarian, and today I’m back with a Builder hall 8 base.
it’s been a long time since a BH8 was uploaded on the website, so I thought it’s about time I upload one I’m pretty sure, this base paired up with good attacking skills will do wonders. this base does a really great job in dealing with popular attack strategies at BH8 like cannon carts, mass pekka, baby dragons, and mass night witch attacks, I will be talking more about this base in-depth in the base analysis part of the post, which will help you in understanding the ins and outs of the base, and also clear your doubts regarding this base.

let’s do the base analysis!
The first thing you’ll notice is that the builder hall is positioned in the core, surrounded by all of our defenses; this is aimed at preventing opponents from obtaining two stars on our base.

Both crushers are placed at a distance to avoid them being taken out all at once, However, placing them at a distance but on the same side allows the opponent to easily avoid the crushers by simply attacking from the opposite side, which is why in our base they’re also placed at two different sides, which means opponents will have to face them regardless of where they begin their attack.
I’ve explained why I prefer placing air bombs close to multi-mortar in previous builder hall base builds, because opponents who use night witch usually try to take out air bombs as soon as possible using night witches, because air bomb is the biggest threat to her bats, so opponents will drop their night witches from this side, which is why I’ve placed the multi mortar next to air bombs because multi mortar will take out opponents witches in no time.

All four firecrackers are positioned in these locations near the bases’ center, which assists in providing solid air defense for our base, as their range covers the whole base while being situated in well-protected areas.

all the main defenses like roaster, mega tesla, giant cannon, air bomb, multi mortar, etc are placed in well-protected core compartments of the base that are really hard to breach into, from where they effectively safeguard the base from attacks.

Similarly, cannons and double cannons are strategically arranged to strengthen the bases’ defense against ground-based attacks.
Apart from defenses, you can see that we have placed some high hitpoint buildings like the clock tower, gold storage, laboratory, and elixir storage inside the base, that is done so that enemy troops can get locked onto these unimportant yet high hitpoints buildings in the middle of the battle while our defenses to do the job of eliminating enemy troops

Coming to the traps placements, most of the traps like spring traps, mines, and mega mines are strategically placed next to defenses, so that whenever opponent’s troops walk through defenses on their pathing they will find these traps, that will help us in reducing opponents army count. In most of my builder hall basebuilds or even town hall basebuilds, I like to place a mega-mine or giant bomb outside the base, as it helps in dealing against players that aren’t good at funneling their troops into the base, and their troops end up moving through this outer peripheral of the base, and here we can take advantage of this opportunity by placing mega-mine there that can potentially destroy opponents whole attack within seconds

and as you can see push traps are placed outward, it is because this is a closed compact base, hence we don’t want any unwanted troops inside, we use those push traps to lower the load on our defenses by throwing some of the troops away from the action, which buys our defenses the time to take out the rest of the troops.
