hey guys, dark here, today I have this really good builder hall 8 base for you, I’m pretty sure, this base paired up with good attacking skills will do wonders. this base does a really great job in dealing with popular attack strategies at BH8 like cannon carts, mass pekka, baby dragons, and mass night witch attacks, I will be talking more about this base in-depth in the base analysis part of the post, which will help you in understanding the ins and outs of the base, and also clear your doubts regarding this base.
let’s do the base analysis!
the first thing, that’ll notice is that the builder hall is kept in the center surrounded by all our defenses, it is placed that way to prevent opponents from getting 2 stars on our base.
The core section of our base is really concentrated with our most powerful defenses that it becomes almost impenetrable, that’s why it is really really hard to get 2 stars on this base, most people will just be able to take out some of those outer buildings and get one star or less most of the times.
And it’s not like we’ve randomly thrown all the main defenses in the core, there is a reason behind each and every defense placement, I’ll explain some of those
I’ve explained this in my previous builder hall base builds as well why I prefer placing air bomb close to multi-mortar because opponents who use night witch usually try to take out air bombs as soon as possible using night witches, because air bomb is the biggest threat to her bats, so opponents will drop their night witches from this side, that is why I’ve placed the multi mortar next to air bombs because multi mortar will take out opponents witches in no time.
Multi-mortar being placed in the center also helps in making better effective use of its huge range.
all 4 firecrackers are placed in the core of the base which helps in providing solid protection to our base against air attacks as their range covers all the major portion of the base while staying protected in the core.
Crushers are gatekeepers of our core section, these passages right here, make sure that all the ground attacking troops have to go through our crusher before they can get access to our builder hall, and you can see they really do a great job in stopping the enemy troops from entering our base.
similarly, double cannons are placed where they are needed, helping in making the base effective against ground attacking strategies.
to make sure, the upper part of the base isn’t left weaker, we have placed our Mega Tesla, giant cannon and roaster there, along with two archer towers.
Mega tesla is placed close to our roaster, so roaster can take out all the lower hitpoints troops like bats, minions, etc, so mega tesla can deal with high hitpoint troops like super Pekka, etc.
apart from defenses, the placement of our outer buildings is also crucial. we have high hitpoint buildings in front of our defenses, these buildings help in acting as a shield for our main defenses, they soak all the incoming damage, while our main defense does the job of killing enemy troops.
also, the outer buildings are spread in a way where one building will lead troops to another, forming a chain in a way where opponents’ troops go around the peripheral of the base, while the main base stays intact.
Now coming to trap placement, spring traps are placed in spots where most troops are highly likely to walk through.
we’ve placed mines set on air in different compartments to protect the defenses against swarms of bats and other air troops like baby dragons, while the mega mines are placed in the core, to absolutely dissipate opponents army when they reach our core.
and as you can see push traps are placed outward, it is because this is a closed compact base, without any openings, hence we don’t want any troops inside, we use those push traps to lower the load on our defenses by throwing some of the troops outside of the base, which buys our defenses the time to take out the rest of the troops.
