hey what is up guys, dark here, today we’re making a builder hall 7 base, last time i made one was like 2-3 months ago, so decided to make one more to keep you guys updated, this base will do its job of stopping enemies from getting two stars on your base, then your attacking skills will come into play, so make your attacking skills are good enough to get at least two stars on opponents base to win all the matches, we’ll do an in-depth breakdown of the base, where you’ll understand why certain buildings are placed at certain spots, which will deeper your understanding of the base,
let’s do the base analysis
first of all, the builder hall is kept right in the core in a well protected in the central compartment of the base., this makes it really hard for opponents to steal that second star from us.
In this central compartment are placed our 3 main defenses, multi-mortar, giant cannon and air bombs, these main defenses are placed here in the core because it is obviously the safest compartment in this base, placing these defenses are here also makes the best use of their range, as they’re able to cover alot of stuff in their range.
Crushers are positioned in the base’s well-protected compartments, separated from one another so that neither of them is taken out at the same time and opponents will have to face them regardless of where they initiate their attack from.
Those two cannons outside the base aren’t a bad thing; they’ve actually helped me win defenses by disrupting attackers’ funnels because it’s the closest defense opponents defense can get to, so opponent’s troops will go towards those defenses instead of where the opponent wants them to go, i’ve used this feature in a lot of bases before, and i’ve tested it that it performs really well, so don’t think of those cannons being placed outside as a bad thing. also some buildings are placed in front of cannons so opponents can’t take them out just by a few archers and barbarian, they’ll have to put some efforts in taking them out.
The archer towers are positioned in such a way that they cover almost the entire base, and when partnered with the firecrackers, which also completely cover the base, this base becomes an absolute beast against air attacks. I’ll provide some air attacking replays at the end to show you how well this base defends against air attacks.
The double cannons are positioned in the remainder of the base’s compartments, aiding in making the base more effective against ground attacks and maintaining the base’s overall balance.
the roaster is placed close to the multi-mortar so night witches’ bats don’t overpower the multi-mortar and it can stay protected.
now coming to the traps placement, I’ve placed these traps after observing opponents’ troops pathing on this base against multiple strategies, so opponent’s troops are most likely to trigger them while attacking our base.
if you’ve seen my previous builder base videos, you’ll know much I like placing mega mines near outside peripheral of the base, that’s because most troops like night witches, cannon carts, raged barbarians, etc, like to walk around the peripheral of the base and they’re highly likely to walk through these mega mines, which will end up destroying a massive portion of their army, trust me this will win you so many matches.
