Hey guys, today we’re making a Builder hall 9 base, a huge thanks to Mico gaming for sending this base to me, he sent me a basic version of this base on my Instagram and i made changes to it, according to my requirements, you guys can also send me your base layouts on my Instagram @darkbarbarianyt so i can feature them on this channel, coming back to the base, this base does a really good job in defending against popular BH9 strategies like Hog gliders and Super Pekkas, you’ll get to know why, in the base analysis part of the video where i do a detailed breakdown of the base, so make sure you watch that after the speed build.

Let’s do the base analysis!

So the first thing that you see, is that the builder hall is placed right in the center of the base, because placing it anywhere else in the base would make it easily available to attackers to steal that 2nd star, and we definitely don’t want that to happen, so we’ve placed it well protected in the central compartment.

now let’s take a look at the other buildings close to our builder hall, since we’re talking about the central compartment of the base, only the most important defenses deserve a spot in there, hence we’ve placed four of our most important defenses there in the well-protected central compartment, these are giant cannon, air bombs, lava launcher, and the mega tesla.

with that being said, it doesn’t mean, defenses like multi mortar, crushers, and roaster aren’t important, they are very important as well, that’s why, even though they are placed in those outer compartments, they are quite deep inside and hard to reach.

so overall you can clearly see how the core of the base is concentrated with all these destructive defenses, this makes the core of the base really strong, which helps in increasing the overall effectiveness of the base.

the not so important defenses like cannons, archers, double cannons, and firecrackers take care of the rest of the base.

Outer trash buildings like Collectors, mines, storages, etc are placed in front of our defenses so they can act as a shield for our defenses and soak all the incoming damage while our defenses take out enemy troops, so that’s basically how this base works.

stacking all the main defenses in the core isn’t enough, how you place the defenses individually also matters a lot

so now, let’s take a look at the defense placements individually

you can see that we’ve placed our air bomb next to multi-mortar, that is because, during a mass night witch attack, opponents try to take out our air bomb as soon as possible. After all, the air bomb is the biggest threat to opponent’s bats but what opponent won’t realize is that we’ve placed our multi mortar next to it which is the major threat to opponents night witch as they end up destroying night witches in no time due to their slash damage capabilities, so opponents who try to overpower our air bomb by night witches end up getting destroyed themselves.

similarly, next to mega tesla, we’ve placed our roaster, so roaster can take out all the lower hitpoints troops like bats, minions, etc, so mega tesla can deal with high hitpoint troops like super Pekka, etc.

crushers are placed in the core of the base, at a distance from one another, so both of them don’t get taken out altogether and opponents will have to face them no matter where they start their attack from.

We have 3 archer towers at builder hall 9, so it’s pretty much impossible to place them in a symmetrical and balanced way in a base that has a structure having 4 outer compartments like our base, but placing them in these 3 spots while using air bombs range to cover the remaining region did the job quite.

not only that, we also have firecrackers, to support our archer towers, and their range pretty much covers the whole base as well, so this base can handle air attacks quite well.

cannons and double cannon is placed in a way that their range covers a huge portion of the base and they help in making the upper part of the base stronger.

now coming to the trap placement, I’ve placed these traps after observing opponents’ troops pathing on this base against multiple strategies, so opponent’s troops are most likely to trigger them while attacking our base.

For example, these mega mines are placed next to the crushers, so they can damage troops like hog gliders, and then crushers can finish them off.

spring traps are placed close to defenses, so troops are highly likely to trigger them before they reach our defenses.
