BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey whats up guys, dark barbarian here, today we are making a new town hall 8 hybrid base because you guys have been requesting it for a long time, so here we go, this base has many features that make it so good for farming loot, I will discuss them one by one in the base analysis part of the video and also clear your doubts regarding this base, so, I will see you guys after the speed build.

let’s do the base analysis!

now some of you might have a problem with these cannons on why they’re placed outside, well, placing these cannons outside isn’t necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, I’d say its a good feature of this base, 

actually, as we move to higher town halls most people use this feature on their bases because it kinda ruins attackers plan, for example, if an opponent wants to attack from this side, instead of going for this side, giant go for the cannon as this is closest defenses they can get to,

 while they’ll be going for that cannon, all the defenses on this side will be targeting them, after destroying the cannon giants will go anywhere they want, 

what this does is, bring uncertainty to the attack, as opponents’ troops aren’t going where they want them to go, this can potentially lead to panic by the attacker and eventually a fail attack. 

As we move forward u guys can see, Townhall is well protected in the central part of the base just like my other hybrid base designs because it is important to keep it safe and secure as it is worth one star and has a decent amount of loot in it. 

Mortars start losing their importance as we start moving higher town hall levels, so there is no point in keeping them well protected in the center as they don’t provide much protection in return. we have placed them more towards the outer part of the base so that they can help us in countering spam attacks like BARCH, Mass Goblins, etc, They too are evenly placed and they cover the whole base.

Archer towers are placed in each corner of the base so that they cover the whole base and no side is left weaker to air attacks.

The wizard towers are the only splash damage buildings we have at Townhall 8 that can attack both ground and air troops so we have placed them in different compartments so that they don’t get taken out altogether and provide splash damage coverage to most of the base. 

Air defenses are placed away from one another in different compartments to protect them from being taken out by lightning spells in a group. they are placed in compartments near the core of the base, they have air sweepers well paired with them contributing to an increase in the protection against air attacks like mass loons and mass dragons.

 Now, coming to the storages, they are placed in different compartments, unlike the bases you usually see where most of the storages are placed in a single compartment. each storage is placed in a different compartment that means the opponent has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot. some of the storages may seem like they are kind of exposed because they are too close to the outer wall but trust me you don’t wanna put your main defense in the frontline in order to save your loot, because once that defense is gone, the enemy can easily takeout the loot from the storage because storages can’t defend themselves, hence its sometimes alright to put the defenses behind the storage, so that defense can use that storage as a shield and destroy enemy troops to save the rest of the loot. 

Also remember to not put the same type of storages on one side of the base, for example, if we put both the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. so to avoid that. we place them alternatively, just like this base.

The Dark elixir storage is well protected in a compartment of its own in the core of the base, so it’s quite well protected, even though I couldn’t make manage to keep the dark elixir drills inside, but I made sure to use other outer trash buildings as cover for dark elixir drill by putting them in front of the drills, so it’s that easy to steal the elixir from them.

after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps, and bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.

All 3 teslas are placed in the core of the base, which really helps in making the core of the base stronger, the seeking air mines and air bombs are placed near the air defenses so that they can help the air defenses in taking out the dragons and balloons

I put those giant bombs over there, when someone attacks using Giants and wizards what usually happens is that the giants go for the defensive buildings while wizards go towards the outer buildings, this is where we can take advantage of this opportunity and take all of them out using a giant bomb, this trick worked for me quite often in the previous builds so I added it in this build too.

now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice. just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily.

One more thing, this base is good enough on its own but make sure you have something in your clan castle for the defense because, at lower town halls, defensive clan castle troops are an integral part of the defense, so if you want to boost your success rate, I definitely recommend getting a dragon or some valkyries in your clan castle for defense. that’s it for this video. BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 8 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 8 you can get Maximum of 25 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 8 :-

1. 1 Witch + 3 Wizards + 1 Archers 
2. 1 Dragon + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
3. 1 Baby Dragon + 1 Witch + 3 Archers
4. 1 Baby Dragon + 1 Valkyrie + 1 Wizard + 3 Archers
5. 3 Valkyrie + 1 Archer 

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 7.
