Hey guys, dark barbarian here, welcome back to another video, today we’re making a new builder hall 8 base upon your request as a lot of you wanted me to do some higher builders, so there you go, this base has a lot of features that makes it so good, I’m gonna talk more about them in the base analysis part of the video like I always do, so make sure you watch that after the speed build.

let’s do the base analysis

the main theme of the base is this, all the main defenses and buildings are placed in the core of the base as this helps in making the core of the base stronger and all the opponent’s troops end up dying before they can reach our builder hall, next, our not so main yet important defenses are placed in these outer compartments to keep them well secured. outside the walls, we’ve placed our useless trash buildings since there is no point in keeping them inside the walls.

let’s take a look at the buildings placements individually.

as you can see the builder hall is well protected in the center of the base guarded by all our main defenses and secondary defenses, this is the basic feature of every builder hall base I make because we don’t want opponents to take away our 2nd star that easily.

crushers are placed in the core of the base, at a distance from one another, so both of them don’t get taken out altogether and opponents will have to face them no matter where they start their attack from as they block opponents troops path by getting in their way before they can reach our main defenses.

stacking all the main defenses in the core isn’t enough, how you place the defenses individually also matters a lot, for example, you can see that we’ve placed our air bomb next to multi-mortar, that is because, during a mass night witch attack, opponents try to take out our air bomb as soon as possible. After all, the air bomb is the biggest threat to opponent’s bats but what opponent won’t realize is that we’ve placed our multi mortar next to it which is the major threat to opponents night witch as they end up destroying night witches in no time due to their slash damage capabilities, so opponents who try to overpower our air bomb by night witches end up getting destroyed themselves.

similarly, next to mega tesla, we’ve placed our roaster, so roaster can take out all the lower hitpoints troops like bats, minions, etc, so mega tesla can deal with high hitpoint troops like super Pekka, etc.

giant cannon too is placed in the core, so it stays protected while increasing the effectiveness of the base by taking out opponents’ troops whenever they try to get close to the core.

now, let’s take a look at the stuff inside the compartments that we’ve created.

Firecrackers are placed in different compartments away from one another so that they don’t get taken out altogether and cover the whole base in their range.

archer towers are placed in such a way they cover pretty much the whole base and pairing them with those firecrackers that also cover the whole base, makes this base an absolute beast against air attacks.

cannons and double cannons are placed right where they are needed, providing the balance to the base, and they are placed away from each other in such a way they pretty much cover the whole base, so no side is left weaker to ground attacks

now let’s take a look at the traps placement.

now coming to the traps placement, I’ve placed these traps after observing opponents’ troops pathing on this base against multiple strategies, so opponent’s troops are most likely to trigger them while attacking our base.

as you can see push traps are placed outward, it is because this is a closed compact base, without any openings, hence we don’t want to invite any troops inside, we use those push traps to lower the load on our defenses by throwing some of the troops outside of the base, which buys our defenses the time to take out the rest of the troops.

the placement of these mega mines are crucial as placing them on optimal spots can literally win you so many matches, I’ve placed those mega mines outside the base next to our cannons, because most troops like cannon carts, archers, and night witches tend to go move around the outer peripheral of the base while taking out our outer trash buildings, so we’ve used this opportunity to take them all of them out using a mega-mine, and this worked wonderfully well, a lot of attacks ended up being less than 40% because a major portion of opponents army got destroyed by mega mines, so that placement of mega-mine is a really good feature of the base.

normal mines are set on air mode and spread all over the base in different compartments to damage troops like baby dragons, hog gliders, night witches bats, minions, etc.

and that is pretty much it for the base analysis

Now you guys can copy this base using the link I’ve left in the description and in the first pinned comment, so you won’t have to copy this base manually, I’ll see you guys in the next one.
