Hey guys, I’m dark barbarian today we’re making a new Town Hall 10 base because most of my town hall 9 subscribers have moved to town hall 10 and they wanted me to post some town hall 10 layouts, so there you go, this base is a hybrid base which means it’ll help you in saving both your loot as well as your trophies, and as always we’ll do an in-depth analysis of this base in the base analysis part of the video which will help you in understanding how this base actually works, for now, I’ll let the speed build play see you in the base analysis.
Let’s do the Base Analysis!
The first thing you can notice is that the town hall is well protected in the center, which is a good thing as we want to save that one star and the loot in it as much as possible.
One of the best things about this base is the number of compartments it has, there are compartments literally everywhere, this helps us in slowing down opponents’ troops, which ultimately leads to time fail or opponent run out of troops. most of the time opponents troops like giants and golems are usually found stuck on walls.
Mortars start losing their importance as we start moving higher town hall levels, so there is no point in keeping them well protected in the center as they don’t provide much protection in return. we have placed them more towards the outer part of the base so that they can help us in countering spam attacks like BARCH, Mass Goblins, etc, They too are evenly placed and they cover the whole base.
Archer towers are arranged in such a way that their range covers the whole base, which means the base is well secured against air attacks from all the sides
wizard towers are placed at a distance from one another in well-protected compartments of the base, so that they can provide air splash damage coverage to pretty much most of the base covering a lot of defenses in their range. They are spread out, so that they don’t get taken out altogether while providing a balance to the base.
Air defenses are placed away from one another in different compartments to protect them from being taken out by lightning spells in a group. they are placed in well-protected compartments in such a way they pretty much cover the whole base, they have air sweepers well paired with them contributing to an increase in the protection against air attacks like lava loon, mass dragons.
Cannons are placed right where they are needed providing to the overall balance of the base and making this base perform pretty well against ground attacks.
Inferno towers are placed right in the center of the base making the core of the base stronger, and covering our most important defenses like X-bows and Air Defense.
you can set the mode of the inferno tower according to the armies you’re getting attacked with, if you’re getting attacked by comparatively lower hitpoint armies like valkyries, witches, bowlers, and miners use Multi whereas if you’re getting attacked by stronger troops like pekkas and Electro Dragons single target would be a better option, so it set it accordingly.
The Xbows are well protected in the central compartment such a way they provide protection to our most of the defenses, we’ve set them on both ground and air as we want protection against both air and ground attacks, the fact that they are placed right in the core of the base makes it hard for the opponents to reach them and they are usually the last defenses left to be taken out.
Now, coming to the storages, they are placed in different compartments, unlike the bases you usually see where most of the storages are placed in a single compartment. each storage is placed in a different compartment that means the opponent has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot.
we’ve also avoided putting the same type of storages on one side of the base, for example, if we put both the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. so in order to avoid that. we place them alternatively, just like this base.
The Dark elixir storage is well protected in a compartment of its own in the core of the base, so it’s quite well protected, we have also kept our dark elixir drills inside as carelessly throwing them anywhere outside of the base can definitely hurt your dark elixir farming process as opponents would be able to steal it easily
Now coming to the placement of the traps, after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps, and giant bombs are strategically placed in different compartments according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks.
All 4 teslas are placed in the core of the base, which really helps in making this base stronger, the seeking air mines are placed near the air defenses so that they can help the air defenses in taking out the lava hound.
those giants bombs are placed outside the boundary of the base, because troops like witches, bowlers, and wizards, like to go along the boundary of walls in swarms while taking out outer buildings, this is where we can take advantage of this opportunity and take all of them out using a giant bomb, this trick worked for me quite often in the previous builds so I added it in this build too.
Now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice, if you are quite active and play regularly you can spread them out more to make the funnel trickier as you wouldn’t have to worry about people stealing your loot from outer collectors, as you’ll be collecting loot from them regularly, but if you are not that active you can do it the way I made it, as you won’t have to worry about stealing your loot as they’ll be in the range of defenses, it’s up to you, just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS
Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 10 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 10 you can get Maximum of 35 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 10 :-
- 1 Electro Dragon + 1 Balloon (Recommended)
- 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 2 Wizard
- 1 Golem + 1 Wizard + 1 Archer
- 1 Witch + 5 Wizards + 3 Archers
- 1 Lava Hound + 1 Balloon
- 1 Dragon + 3 Wizard + 1 Archer
Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 10.
